Description

You will deploy, operate, and maintain mission-critical datacenter systems. You own L2 and L3 support for server infrastructure, including Windows, VMware ESXi, and Unix environments. Your role involves coordinating core monitoring application updates and managing VxRack systems across multiple nodes.

Responsibilities

• Perform updates to core monitoring applications and troubleshoot network issues.
• Manage server inventory, document build/decommission processes, and verify backups.
• Coordinate with internal teams to escalate and resolve business issues.
• Execute migrations of on-premise infrastructure to AWS to optimize resources and reduce costs.
• Provide knowledge transfer on Dell EMC best practices to address customer skill gaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in L2 & L3 support for server-related issues.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, VMware ESXi, and Unix system operations.
• Proficiency in application installation/configuration and operating system management.
• Experience with backup verifications and disaster recovery procedures.
• Ability to manage VxRack systems and perform network troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to data trends.
• Effective interpersonal communication for vendor and client interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer systems networking.
• Experience migrating infrastructure to AWS.
