Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced System Engineering Manager / Senior Supervisor – System Engineering to lead firewall and network security operations across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise data centers. The role requires strong technical expertise along with team leadership capabilities to ensure security, resilience, and compliance of enterprise network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Check Point Firewalls across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network security solutions including:

VPNs

IDS/IPS

Endpoint Security

Lead cloud network security operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Ensure consistent security policy enforcement across multi-cloud environments.

Monitor network performance and proactively identify vulnerabilities.

Deploy security patches, updates, and remediation measures.

Incident Response & Security Operations

Lead security incident response activities and drive timely resolution.

Investigate security-related issues while minimizing business impact.

Conduct regular security assessments and compliance reviews.

Maintain network security documentation, SOPs, policies, configurations, and runbooks.

Team & Stakeholder Management

Mentor and develop network security engineers.

Drive operational excellence and technical capability building within the team.

Collaborate with IT, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security teams to enhance secure architectures.

Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

9–13 years of experience in Network Engineering and Cybersecurity.

Strong hands-on experience with Check Point Firewall Administration.

Expertise in Cisco Networking (Routers, Switches, Firewalls).

Strong understanding of:

TCP/IP

MPLS

VPN Technologies

Experience with routing protocols:

OSPF

BGP

EIGRP

Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform:

AWS

Azure

GCP

Experience leading security incident response activities.

Prior experience mentoring, supervising, or leading technical teams.

Preferred Certifications

Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)

Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher

Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE 4+)

Preferred Skills

Experience with SD-WAN technologies.

Knowledge of enterprise network monitoring tools.

Exposure to multi-cloud security operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
