Description

You will manage the real-time operation of clean energy generation resources from a 24/7 Remote Operation Center.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control generation resources according to Dispatch Desktop Procedures.
• Respond to operating instructions from Site Personnel, Balancing Authorities, Transmission Operators, and Reliability Coordinators.
• Submit forced outage tickets and update resource availability and unit status in market portals and PCI.
• Notify internal and external stakeholders of operational events.
• Perform ad-hoc data reporting regarding resource operation and performance.

Required Skills

• PJM System Operator Certification.
• Experience with real-time applications including OSI monarch, PI, and PCI.
• Experience with market portals such as ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, and CAISO.
• Basic IT networking competencies.
• Minimum 2 years of technical work experience in power markets, power generation, or transmission operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills

• NERC System Operator Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
