You will manage CATV-Fibre design, mapping, and project coordination for outside plant engineering.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary field surveys to determine coax and fiber optic route feasibility and scope of work.
• Prepare project costing, approval forms (CA/PIF/BOM), and permit drawings for contractors.
• Review RF designs, powering, permits, and splicing assignments for conformance to specifications and construction viability.
• Track markups and permits from submission through to approval and manage as-built drawing completeness.
• Coordinate with planners and permit coordinators to maintain network records, drawings, and maps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in CATV-Fibre or telecommunications planning and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SpatialNet, and RPATS.
• Strong knowledge of RF and fibre optic architecture and planning processes.
• Working knowledge of CSA standards, MCR, utility standards, and ESA 2204.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to perform field inspections and technical documentation reviews.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree in Engineering or related technical field.
