Description

You will build automated tools and tests to ensure the stability and performance of embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Build command line, OS, and web-based tools for system restore, triage, and reporting.
• Design and write automated stress and stability hardware-centric tests for embedded systems.
• Maintain existing test and reporting software to support thousands of devices with minimal downtime.
• Identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs using debugging and performance analysis tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automation development within HW/SW test engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for developing software automation of low-level and user-level UI.
• Strong knowledge of Unix and Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with web technologies including MySQL, PHP, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, and Tableau.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, Swift, or JavaScript.
• Ability to follow software development processes including pull requests and unit testing.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot hardware systems to the component level and perform root-cause analysis.
• Experience developing web-based automation frameworks and database design.
