Description

You will design and build performant Python 3 distributed storage layers and systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality Python 3 code and architect APIs for distributed storage.
• Conduct performance testing and define testing requirements for distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system-level performance.
• Mentor engineers on technical best practices and code quality.
• Participate in code reviews for internal and community contributions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software delivery with a low defect rate.
• Deep understanding of Python 3 internals and asynchronous principles.
• Experience with data storage design, performance tuning, and distributed systems problems.
• Thorough understanding of operating system concepts and Linux/POSIX software development.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
