Description

You will design, implement, and maintain critical software systems for environmental and water-related applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions using ASP.NET, .NET, and C#.
• Optimize SQL databases and write complex stored procedures.
• Perform manual and automated testing, troubleshoot bugs, and resolve service desk issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and guide junior developers through code reviews.
• Assist with data migration efforts by identifying technical dependencies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in government IT projects.
• 8+ years of experience with SQL optimization and stored procedures.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, debugging, and software testing.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SDWIS, WQX, SWIFT, or DW-SFTIES.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat or Java.
