Description

You will develop, modify, and maintain computer software for government IT projects, specifically supporting Water Quality/Safety Information Systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Develop and maintain software applications using .NET and Java ecosystems.
• Support Water Quality/Safety Information Systems in a government setting.
• Collaborate on government IT project requirements and delivery.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in computer software development, modification, and maintenance.
• 8+ years of experience building and optimizing SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of ASP.NET, .NET, C#, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Swift.
• Experience with Java and Apache Tomcat.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (relevant experience may substitute).

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting SDWIS, Water Quality Exchange (WQX), and DW–SFTIES.
• Experience working with or collaborating with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
