Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to support our digital infrastructure. This is a part-time, project-driven role designed for a professional with deep expertise in the SharePoint Online ecosystem and the Microsoft Power Platform. You will be responsible for streamlining business processes, designing scalable intranet architecture, and ensuring long-term platform sustainability.
Platform Architecture: Design and maintain hub-and-spoke intranet models, utilizing site templates, metadata, and document management best practices.
Modern Development: Develop reusable web parts using React/TypeScript and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Power Platform Delivery: Lead the automation of manual business processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.
System Integration: Utilize REST APIs and Microsoft Graph to integrate SharePoint with Teams, Outlook, and external systems.
Governance & Security: Implement "least privilege" permission models, ensure adherence to M365 security standards, and manage site lifecycles.
UI/UX Optimization: Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces tailored for both field staff and non-technical office personnel.
Stakeholder Communication: Translate business requirements into technical workflows and facilitate regular progress reviews with the team.
Candidates must possess 5+ years of professional experience in each of the following areas:
SharePoint Platform & Architecture: Mastery of SharePoint Online, sites, hubs, and libraries.
Governance Alignment: Site lifecycle planning, ownership models, and standardized design.
Modern Development: Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
Power Platform: Expert-level Power Automate and Power Apps development.
Integration: Proficiency with REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.
Business Process Analysis: Translating complex requirements into efficient, automated workflows.
Security & Compliance: Applying data sensitivity controls and M365 security models.
UX/UI: Designing for modern SharePoint and improving site navigation.
Solution-Oriented: A preference for maintainable, documented, and scalable solutions over "one-off" customizations.
Collaborative: Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical IT requirements and non-technical stakeholders (HR, Operations, etc.).
Adaptable: Capable of working independently in a remote environment while maintaining strict alignment with organizational goals
