Description

You will bridge mainframe and modern software environments through development, reverse engineering, and system analysis.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using C#, COBOL, JCL, and CICS to support CCAD initiatives.
• Write code to access and manage DB2 and MS SQL Server databases.
• Reverse engineer current state systems and document future state processes.
• Gather and document complex business data requirements through interviews and facilitation.
• Design, test, and implement software changes within asset management and production environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Mandatory expertise in .NET technologies, specifically C# and the .NET framework.
• Mandatory mainframe experience including COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
• Proficiency in DB2 and MS SQL with a strong understanding of SQL.
• Proven ability to create software design documentation.
• Experience conducting impact analyses and managing functional specifications.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Python and data science tools.
• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and process automation.
