Description

Maintain high availability for calibration controllers and software while managing the Americas computer refresh program.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uptime for calibration controllers and associated supporting software.
• Manage the Americas region computer refresh program, including installation, configuration, and deployment of proprietary software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve calibration system issues by collaborating with software developers and IT teams.
• Validate updates, enhancements, infrastructure changes, and security patches prior to implementation.
• Continuously improve existing processes and tools.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in calibration using automated tools, system troubleshooting, software support, or development.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems comprising electronic equipment, printers, computers, and controlling software.
• Proficiency in Unix OS, specifically using shell or command prompt to navigate directories and execute commands.
• Ability to read and understand low-level or scripting languages including C, BASIC, Perl, or Python.
• Working knowledge of electronics measurement equipment.
• Ability to extract technical information from manuals and manage ticket workloads independently.
• Degree or equivalent work experience in a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Keysight calibration platforms.
