Own system verification and performance characterization for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute tests to verify products against specifications.
• Characterize system performance across hemodynamics, blood compatibility, strength, and software algorithms.
• Draw conclusions from analysis using Matlab, Python, and R.
• Conduct technical design reviews and coordinate with project leaders to drive projects to conclusion.
• Maintain the test lab and design exploratory tests to support development.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of engineering experience or equivalent.
• BS degree in engineering.
• Proficiency with Matlab and Python.
• Experience in blood loop design for hemodynamic testing.
• Strong statistical analytical and conceptual design skills.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment.
• Experience in detailed design and testing.

Preferred Skills

• Medical device industry experience.
• Additional programming experience.
