Description

You will test components of robotic surgical systems on the client's side in Raleigh, NC.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive tests on surgical robot components and input devices.
• Perform manual testing on hardware components using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Prepare detailed test protocols, reports, and documentation for each test scenario.
• Collaborate with development teams and clients to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all testing processes comply with safety and performance standards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software or hardware integration testing.
• At least 2 years of experience in a test developer role.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
• Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Experience working within regulated environments such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or 21 CFR 820.
• Strong technical writing skills for editing and following test protocols.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Computer, Electrical, or Software preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Reliability testing.
• Experience in the medical device or robotics industry.
