Job Summary

The Product Service Engineering Team (PSE) is a part of Operations Engineering team and is responsible for assuring the next generation of Apple products can be delivered in a way that will continue to delight our customers.

Key Qualifications 

• Excellent knowledge of software testing methodologies & practices Ability to triage problems, prioritize and report clearly
• Strong ability to create reports on progress & track issues
• Proficient with Bash, Python, or similar scripting language is required
• Understanding of networking and operating system concepts is required
• Understanding of C/C++/Objective C code is a plus
• Passion for hardware debugging and identifying root cause
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering and other teams to achieve team goals
• (Up to 25% international travel )

Description 

The PSE Software Team is seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in Systems Test. In this position the Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for testing, monitoring and sustaining software solutions. Responsibilities will include:

• Design test plans and define test strategies

• Build, enhance and maintain test automation system

• Enhance and maintain build and release system

• Modify and execute tests for validation of hardware and software features

• Work with Electrical and Mechanical engineers to root cause and resolve hardware and

fixture issues

• Provide test reports to engineering, operations, and management
