Description

You will design and execute test plans to ensure software meets functional, performance, and integration standards. You own the defect lifecycle, from identification to resolution, while maintaining traceability across requirements.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain test scripts, scenarios, and implementation plans based on software requirements.
• Verify that system requirements are traceable, consistent, complete, and testable.
• Analyze test results and report defects with accurate documentation of performance failures.
• Conduct requirements, design, and code walkthroughs and reviews.
• Communicate test results clearly to programming staff and management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT testing, quality assurance, and change management.
• 2 years of experience specifically in QA testing and script writing.
• 3 years of experience working in a cross-platform IT development environment.
• Hands-on experience with automated test tools.
• Proficiency with SQL and MS Excel.
• Experience using JIRA and Client ALM.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and the system test life cycle.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proven ability in gap analysis and interpreting test cases for functional processes.
