JOB DESCRIPTION: Application Administrator (contractor)
Role Summary:
The Application Administrator is responsible for the technical assessment, planning, and execution of
application migrations from Client into the Schwab environment as part of the acquisition integration.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Business Systems Analyst, this role serves as the
technical lead for application discovery, migration planning, configuration, integration, testing, and
cutover activities across a diverse portfolio of SaaS and enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology professional with broad experience administering SaaS
platforms, implementing integrations, and executing system migrations. Success in this role requires
strong technical expertise, a delivery-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate with business and
technical stakeholders to ensure seamless application transitions with minimal business disruption.

Key skills:
• SaaS Application Administration & Integration: The role requires broad exposure to applications
such as M365, Jira, Miro, Meraki, RingCentral, and other SaaS platforms. The administrator must
understand application configuration, user management, security settings, integrations, and data
migration considerations.
• Application Migration & Project Delivery: The primary objective is to migrate Client applications to
Schwab. Success requires planning migration paths, coordinating stakeholders, managing
dependencies, tracking deliverables, and ensuring smooth execution with minimal business
disruption.
• Technical Analysis and Solution Research: The description emphasizes comfort with unfamiliar
applications. The individual must quickly learn new technologies, evaluate options, troubleshoot
issues, and develop solutions when documentation or prior experience is limited.
• Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: The role involves working with both Client and Schwab
personnel to conduct assessments and drive migrations. Strong communication, relationship-
building, requirements gathering, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential for aligning
teams and achieving project goals.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess Client's application portfolio and develop technical migration approaches for each
platform.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate application configurations,
integrations, security requirements, and data migration needs.
• Configure, administer, and support SaaS and enterprise applications throughout the migration
lifecycle.
• Design and execute application migration, integration, and data transfer activities.
• Coordinate testing activities, troubleshoot technical issues, and support user acceptance testing
efforts.
• Validate security, identity management, access controls, and compliance requirements during
migrations.
• Develop technical documentation, migration runbooks, support procedures, and operational
handoff materials.

• Support cutover planning, post-migration validation, and stabilization activities to ensure
successful adoption and operational continuity.

Preferred Experience
• 5+ years of experience administering SaaS and enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, technology integrations, or large-scale migration
initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Jira, Miro, RingCentral, Meraki, identity and access
management platforms, and collaboration tools.
• Experience with application integrations, data migration tools, APIs, SSO, and provisioning
workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise change management, testing, and operational transition processes.
