Description

You will manage and support large server clusters across on-premises data centers and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor on-premises and cloud infrastructure using Grafana, Zabbix, and native cloud tools to ensure uptime.
• Manage cloud services including Compute Instances, Block Volumes, Object Storage, VCNs, and Load Balancers.
• Provision and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform scripts for scalable deployments.
• Automate routine operational tasks and system processes using Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow ITSM tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in system administration supporting web/hosting environments.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix fundamentals, including file system troubleshooting and kernel/system tools.
• Experience with shell scripting using Bash, sed, awk, and grep.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (OCI, AWS, or Azure) and IAM policies.
• Competency with Terraform and cloud CLI tools.
• Understanding of networking protocols including DNS, HTTP, TCP, and UDP.
• Experience managing web servers such as Apache and Nginx.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Infrastructure certifications (OCI, AWS, or Azure) or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
• Advanced scripting in Go.
