Description

Manage implementation, maintenance, and production support for third-party products and infrastructure. You will own deployment stability, automation, and monitoring across hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor deployments across workstations and servers to ensure operational stability.
• Support active projects, including Windows VM workstation and desktop rollouts.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP network issues, connectivity, and throughput on Linux, AIX, and Windows servers.
• Configure Kickstart servers for Red Hat Linux CentOS and VMware ESX installations.
• Create deployment status reports for applications, imaging, and infrastructure using SQL Server Reporting Services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of systems administration experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with Linux environments.
• Experience with SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Proficiency with Windows, AIX, and Red Hat Linux CentOS.
• Knowledge of VMware ESX.
• Experience using Nagios and Splunk for monitoring and automation.
• Ability to perform feasibility studies and travel to client sites for system setup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with LAN backup and data recovery processes.
• Ability to apply OS security patches effectively.
