Description

You will manage and optimize on-premises and cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking layers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure health using Grafana, Zabbix, and cloud-native tools.
• Configure and manage cloud services including Compute, Block Volumes, Object Storage, VCNs, and Load Balancers.
• Implement IAM policies, compartments, and tagging for resource organization and access control.
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform and automate routine tasks with Bash, Python, Perl, or Ruby scripts.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and changes through ServiceNow ITSM.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system administration across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals, including file system troubleshooting and kernel-level tools (sed, awk, grep, lsof, strace, ps, top).
• Proficiency with networking protocols including DNS, HTTP, TCP, and UDP.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and cloud CLI for infrastructure automation.
• Experience managing web servers such as Apache, Nginx, BIND, Exim, and Dovecot.
• Knowledge of storage solutions including RAID, DAS, SAN, and NAS.
• Familiarity with firewall tools such as iptables, CSF, and LFD.
• Experience with cloud security features including IAM, KMS, and Vault Services.
• Ability to manage database services such as Autonomous Databases and DB Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Infrastructure Certifications (OCI, AWS, or Azure) or RHCSA.
• Advanced scripting in Go or PHP.
