Description

Manage and support Windows server hardware, operating systems, and virtualization environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and apply server upgrades, patches, and fixes.
• Support Windows Active Directory and manage server configuration and installation.
• Monitor, analyze, and tune systems for performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to determine maintenance or repair needs.
• Coordinate service level management and hardware maintenance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Enterprise system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 2008 operating systems.
• Experience with VMWare ESX server and Virtual Center administration and configuration.
• Proficiency in planning, designing, configuring, patching, and tuning servers.
• Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, and MySQL/SQL.
• Experience with Linux and Windows 10 environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows 2012 operating systems.
• Strong scripting skills.
• Working knowledge of IBM or comparable SAN attached storage.
