Description

You will manage operating system lifecycles and provide administrative support across Windows and Linux platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage OS upgrades and lifecycle processes for Windows and Linux environments.
• Execute patch management activities using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM).
• Monitor systems for availability and performance while conducting hardware and software audits.
• Design and develop standard operating procedures, technical specifications, and configuration templates.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for device configurations, inventory, and monitoring systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting IT environments with expert-level Windows knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019).
• 3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V.
• 3+ years of experience with scripting and automation.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking and LAN/WAN environments.
• Understanding of SAN, data backup technologies, and security requirements.
• 1+ year of experience using ManageEngine or similar ticketing systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Professional technical certifications in Microsoft, VMWare, or Linux.
• Working knowledge of alerting and monitoring systems like Zabbix or Graylog.
