Description

You will manage and maintain computer networks, hardware, and software configurations under the direction of the IT manager.

Responsibilities

• Administer computer networks, hardware, systems software, and application software configurations.
• Execute data backups and manage disaster recovery operations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network system issues, including component replacement.
• Implement and coordinate network security measures to protect data and infrastructure.
• Configure and monitor email applications and virus protection software.

Required Skills

• 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the SDLC.
• 2 years of direct experience in systems administration using the technologies listed below.
• Experience with Network Access Software and Administration Software.
• Proficiency with Application Server Software and Authentication Server Software.
• Knowledge of Backup or Archival Software and File Versioning Software.
• Experience with Internet Directory Service Software and IP Multimedia Subsystem Software.
• Familiarity with Network Operating System Enhancement Software.
• Hands-on experience with Network Security and VPN equipment software.
• Ability to travel to various client sites across the USA.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
