Description

You will manage physical and virtual server environments, with a primary focus on VMware infrastructure. Your work ensures system stability, security, and high availability across enterprise hardware.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere environments and storage systems.
• Develop and maintain server images, backup processes, and disaster recovery documentation.
• Monitor system performance, resolve bottlenecks, and configure system alerts for high availability.
• Create architecture diagrams and technical documentation for new applications and infrastructure changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and support service desk escalations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in VMware environments.
• VMware certification (minimum: VCTA – Data Center or equivalent).
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2019/2022) and Unix/Linux systems.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management.
• Deep understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions (e.g., NetApp) and server hardware (e.g., HP, Cisco).
• Familiarity with security tools including endpoint protection and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
