Description

You will maintain and operate virtual Windows system environments across production, pre-production, and development tiers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Windows environments including Active Directory, GPO policies, patching, and account management.
• Manage system resources such as CPU, memory, and disk through continuous monitoring and log auditing.
• Execute full systems lifecycle management from planning and implementation to decommissioning of hardware and software.
• Implement patches and updates via WSUS to meet ISVM and ICVA compliance and support DoD STIGs.
• Participate in 24x7 operations, including shifts and weekend support.

Required Skills

• Active Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting.
• 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Microsoft Windows Server and client administration (Windows 2016 and 2019).
• Hands-on experience building Windows Servers.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience applying STIGs to secure Windows services and applications.
• Experience with Windows Server Update Services (WSUS).
• Experience with Backup/Restore, ePO McAfee, and VMware 6.0 or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SQL Server 2016 or higher, Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 or higher, Altiris, and SharePoint Server.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 and Venafi Certificate Management Systems.
