Description

You will own the design, implementation, and support of small to medium scale enterprise business networks and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage lab infrastructure and support client projects through onboarding and system optimization.
• Organize and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, and virtualized environments.
• Design and support disaster recovery, cloud infrastructure, and backup/recovery systems.
• Develop scripts to automate daily job functions and establish performance dashboards and metrics.
• Document workflows, processes, and infrastructure configurations while acting as a final escalation point for IT issues.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system design, implementation, and support.
• Proficiency with VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V Server.
• Strong knowledge of networking services including DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Experience managing Cisco and Juniper routers and switches.
• Administration of Exchange Server (2003 through 2016) and Office 365.
• Management of hosted services including DropBox and Box.net.
• Experience with Windows Remote Desktop Server and Terminal Server.
• Support for server hardware such as HP DL/ML and Dell PowerEdge.
• Knowledge of iSCSI or fiber channel SAN/NAS and deployment-level OpenStack.

Preferred Skills

• Professional certifications such as Microsoft MCSA/MCSA, Cisco CCNA, VMware VCP, or Citrix CCEA/CCIA.
• Linux experience.
