Systems Administrator

You will manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of VMware-based virtualized server infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain VMware infrastructure and associated tools.
• Provide subject matter expertise for troubleshooting VMware server infrastructure issues.
• Manage workloads, projects, and administrative tasks for the VMware Server team.
• Design and implement storage technologies including SAN and NFS.
• Identify, track, and resolve infrastructure issues both independently and collaboratively.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration.
• Deep expertise in Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), specifically VxRail and vSAN.
• Proficiency with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and the Aria suite for enterprise implementation and orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with VDI infrastructure and configuration, such as Horizon View.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or higher.
• Strong knowledge of storage technologies, SAN, and NFS.
• At least one year of experience developing PowerShell scripts.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Competency in operating systems including Windows, AIX, and Linux.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cisco ACI.
• Knowledge of networking and monitoring tools.
• Containerization experience.
