Description

You manage and configure DataPower appliances and web services within DMZ and intranet environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure DataPower XI52 and Gateway appliances, including network setup and firmware upgrades.
• Configure Web Service Proxies, Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPGW), XML Firewalls, and Web Firewalls.
• Implement AAA policies for authentication and authorization and manage SSL mutual authentication via DataPower clustering.
• Manage security components including certificates, encryption, SAML, and domain backups.
• Maintain service utilization by configuring log targets and routing web services via URI-based MPGW configuration.

Required Skills

• Expertise in DataPower appliance administration via WebGUI, CLI, and XML Management Interface.
• Hands-on experience with Web Service Proxy and Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW) configuration.
• Proficiency in XML and XML Firewall management.
• Experience applying firmware updates and APAR fixes.
• Knowledge of configuring REST web services endpoints and URL routing.
• Ability to manage certificates and SSL connections in DMZ environments.
• Experience with DataPower clustering and mutual authentication.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree.
• 1 year of experience in systems administration.
