Description

You will manage the design, installation, and operation of Linux server operating systems within an enterprise environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure, tune, and monitor Linux-based OS servers, Oracle Forms Fusion Middleware, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Oversee system operations including OS and application patching, backup verification, and monitoring software maintenance.
• Support application deployment activities and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
• Research and implement automation for routine tasks and advise management on new technologies.
• Document technical processes and provide coaching to junior staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting Linux server operating systems.
• Proficiency with command line and scripting languages including Bash, Shell scripts, PowerShell, and YAML.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Working knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure Technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Understanding of networking, DNS, and Active Directory concepts.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
• Strong technical writing skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Requirement to obtain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate certification within the first year.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with security officers to implement data protection and security best practices.
