Description

Manage and maintain Linux and Unix server environments to ensure application performance and uptime.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Linux and Unix servers alongside database servers.
• Plan and coordinate network and data communication between hardware and software.
• Maintain server security and optimize application performance.
• Travel to unanticipated client sites across the USA as required.

Required Skills

• 12+ months of experience in Systems Administration of Unix or Linux systems.
• Hands-on experience working with Unix and Linux systems.
• 12+ months of experience as an IT Consultant, Analyst, Programmer, Developer, or in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Ability to work under supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel to client sites throughout the USA.
