Responsibilities
Plan, design, configure, and manage VMware virtual server environments and storage infrastructure.
Administer Microsoft Windows Server 2019/2022 and Unix/Linux systems, including Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
Monitor and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network security, utilizing tools like McAfee, CrowdStrike, Centrify, and Secret Server.
Manage data, user entitlements, and password policies while maintaining system security diagnostics.
Collaborate with teams to solve complex problems and communicate effectively across organizational levels.
Required Skills
5+ years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator in virtualization and storage.
VMware Certified Technical Associate (VCTA) – Data Center certification required.
Extensive knowledge of virtualization technologies, high-availability environments, and server/storage hardware.
Hands-on experience with HP and Cisco hardware.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Windows file system management.
Strong understanding of network security protocols and tools (SFTP, TCP/IP).
Experience with NetApp storage solutions.
