Description

You will analyze clinical workflows and translate them into technical specifications for data extraction, reporting, and analytics solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts within Cerner Millennium environments.
• Perform complex data extraction, validation, and reconciliation from Cerner Millennium Oracle schemas.
• Support enterprise-wide EHR data migration, reporting, and legacy system retirement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain structured data feeds, flat file extracts, and ETL processes.
• Troubleshoot CCL performance issues and resolve downstream data integration or reporting challenges.

Required Skills

• Advanced, hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Cerner Millennium architecture.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and healthcare data integrations.
• Working knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL, Linux, and enterprise data extraction patterns.
• Experience designing and supporting ETL processes and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience developing or supporting services on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Experience with REST / SOA development and knowledge of networking and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, OCI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Cerner Millennium environments.
• Prior experience serving as a senior Cerner consultant or technical lead.
