Description

Convert clinical data from ADT and C-CDA formats into the OMOP EHR database architecture to enable analytics for Medicaid programs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and operational procedures to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
• Convert incoming .xml and .csv files into a searchable database for real-time use cases.
• Identify alternative solutions through cost/benefit analysis and studies of business objectives.
• Write detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and development steps.
• Confer with organizational units to define input/output requirements and report formats.

Required Skills

• 8+ years designing and developing complex, efficient SQL scripts.
• 8+ years of batch file programming experience.
• 8+ years as a systems analyst for data warehousing or data analytics projects.
• 8+ years working within an agile sprint team.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Experience with OMOP CDM model for Electronic Health Records.
• Experience with Azure cloud development platforms.
• Experience with ETL processes, preferably Informatica.
• Experience with Corepoint or Rhapsody.
• Experience with HL7 V2 and V3 data structures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HL7/FHIR data structures.
• Prior experience in the Healthcare industry, HHS agencies, or working with PII/PHI data.
• Experience using JIRA.
