Description

Design and execute Oracle-to-AWS migration strategies, owning the end-to-end process from planning to cutover. Build and maintain the AWS infrastructure and data integration pipelines required for seamless legacy modernization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement Oracle-to-AWS migration solutions using AWS DMS, supporting full-load, CDC, and real-time streaming.
• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure including VPCs, subnets, security groups, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and Lambda.
• Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform or CloudFormation and create automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Build and support ETL/ELT data integration pipelines and develop migration runbooks, cutover plans, and rollback procedures.
• Monitor cloud environments using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail to ensure stability and performance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience in designing, developing, or deploying technology solutions.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle-to-AWS migration using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Strong proficiency with AWS infrastructure: VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Routing, VPN, and Direct Connect.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, and Lambda services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration patterns.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail for monitoring and auditing.
