Description

Design, develop, and implement the Data Mining Hub infrastructure as a SAS Viya Engineer. Own the full SDLC using agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Automate data acquisition from diverse sources and develop complex SQL scripts for processing.
• Collaborate with architects and data engineering teams to design optimal data structures and acquisition strategies.
• Perform integration, load, and stress testing to ensure system stability.
• Produce and maintain technical specifications, diagrams, and documentation for all DD&I efforts.

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience administering SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Statistics, SAS Data Preparation, and SAS Data Mining.
• 8 years of experience installing and configuring data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Snowflake, and Salesforce.
• 8 years of experience designing and developing fast, efficient, complex Oracle SQL scripts.
• 8 years of experience as a systems analyst for data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects.
• Proficiency in technical writing and diagramming, including modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within agile sprint ceremonies.
• Knowledge of the full SDLC.
