Description

Design automated processing solutions and improve existing computer systems by bridging business objectives with technical implementation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, operational procedures, and input/output needs to design system improvements or automations.
• Conduct cost/benefit analyses and studies of alternative technical solutions to meet business goals.
• Write detailed documentation covering user needs, program functions, and development steps.
• Evaluate system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to assess the feasibility of requested changes.
• Implement highly available, fault-tolerant cloud systems and monitoring frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on core AWS services.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting and programming languages.
• Experience designing and implementing serverless, high-availability, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using ECS, EKS, or Fargate.
• Proven ability to automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring tools including CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex environments.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certifications.
