Description

You will optimize clinical workflows and support large-scale EHR implementations within the Cerner Millennium ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical requirements into technical and data specifications for system enhancements.
• Design, develop, and tune CCL scripts in production environments to support healthcare operations.
• Execute and support ETL processes, data extraction, and system integration patterns.
• Maintain and optimize Oracle databases and distributed systems for performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in systems analysis or technical consulting.
• Advanced, hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL) and Millennium architecture.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Linux, and enterprise data migration strategies.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Working knowledge of Java, C, C++, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with REST/SOA development and healthcare data integrations.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting Cerner Millennium environments directly.
• Prior experience as a senior Cerner consultant or technical lead.
