Description

You will design and develop computer systems by configuring hardware and software and optimizing existing resources.

Responsibilities

• Consult with managers and users to gather and interpret functional specifications and user requirements.
• Perform structured analysis, data modeling, information engineering, and mathematical model building.
• Collaborate with programmers to design logical and physical database structures and develop user interfaces.
• Develop internet and intranet functionality using web tools and application frameworks.
• Coordinate system tests, observe initial use, and develop necessary enhancements or modifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or development.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, EJB, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with JavaScript, XML, and XSL.
• Strong background in C/C++.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Sun Solaris environments.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle and DB2.
• Familiarity with application servers such as Websphere, Weblogic, and JBoss.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Crystal Reports.
