Description

This Senior Systems Analyst role is focused primarily on hands-on systems analysis, with some project delivery responsibilities. The position will analyze business and technical requirements, evaluate existing systems and integrations, create technical documentation and workflows, support API analysis and testing, perform data mapping, and work closely with developers, QA, architects, and business stakeholders. Strong database/RDBMS knowledge, SQL/Oracle, APIs, system integrations, web/mobile architectures, Visio or similar workflow tools, and the ability to read and understand code are important.

The ideal candidate has strong technical systems analysis experience along with basic project management skills to help drive initiatives from requirements through production. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables while supporting Agile and SDLC processes. This is not a Scrum Master position; systems analysis should be the candidate’s primary background. Experience with GitHub Copilot, Java/Python/C#/JavaScript, frontend technologies, cloud platforms, and financial services is beneficial, with retirement income domain knowledge particularly valuable.

Must Have:

• Strong database knowledge (RDBMS)
• API's knowledge (testing and understanding the product and if changes are needed)
• Understanding the code (Github Copilot)
• Visio or some sort of Workflow tools
• Knowledge in the retirement income domain
• Primary responsibilities will be Systems Analysis, but they will need some basic project management skills (not a Scrum Master)
