Description

You will own the execution of production jobs and maintain mainframe logic within the IT environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Resolve defects and enhance mainframe logic to prevent job failures.
• Manage claim file loading, CDH membership reconciliations, and necessary corrections.
• Support project initiatives related to 2026 benefits and enrollment.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) IT teams.

Required Skills

• Strong mainframe development skills in COBOL.
• Experience with Mainframe scheduling tools including JCL, CA7, CA11, and/or REXX.
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Ability to test packages and promote them using change management processes.
• Experience with system development and project lifecycle processes.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 10+ years of experience.

Preferred Skills

• Java/Java batch experience to support dental benefit related work.
• Server app experience with Java (REST/Spring Boot/Hibernate).
