Description

You will own the technical research, analysis, and implementation of enterprise-level IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and detailed requirements to design and implement technical solutions.
• Perform technical research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and databases.
• Program and debug software using defined procedures to resolve system defects.
• Design quality control and test procedures to evaluate system solutions.
• Manage risk identification, issue tracking, and communications with project stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a systems analyst on successful, enterprise-level IT projects.
• Strong programming expertise in J2EE/Java (version 1.6 and higher).
• Hands-on experience with J2EE technologies including JSP, EJB, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Proficiency with Java frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, Struts, or Spring.
• Experience managing database environments including Oracle (11g+), MS SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Ability to write stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Experience working with JBOSS application servers (version 5.0 and higher).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to model software engineering methods for design, integration, and support.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related technical or business field.
• Experience with Unix scripting, Maven, Ant, JUnit, or log4j.
• Knowledge of Spring 2.5, Spring Webflow 2.0, or Hibernate 3.
