Description

You will manage corporate and enclave firewalls, application delivery controllers, and authentication services in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement firewall changes while evaluating requests for potential cybersecurity threats.
• Provide 3rd level support to troubleshoot complex networking issues and resolve customer inquiries.
• Lead projects including design consultation for firewall necessity and configuration.
• Execute disaster recovery and test plans for all supported devices.
• Document administration procedures and create support documentation for 1st and 2nd level support groups.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of extensive experience with firewall administration, upgrades, backups, configuration, and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Cisco and Fortinet firewall operations and deployments.
• Experience with AAA services, including RADIUS and RSA authentication.
• Knowledge of IPSec VPNs, IDS/IPS profiles, and NGFW threat management tools.
• Hands-on experience with centralized management tools such as Cisco Systems Manager and FortiManager.
• Competency in SNMP monitoring, alert profiles, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to manage cloud systems integration, specifically Azure.
• Skills in scripting and automation for network tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vulnerability reviews of hardware AAA systems.
• Familiarity with web-filtering and application filtering tools.
