Description

You will maintain and optimize the Energy Management System (EMS) for real-time power operations.

Responsibilities

• Update and monitor EMS application reliability, including power system modeling, state estimation, contingency analysis, and power flow analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EMS system issues to ensure continuous operational stability.
• Configure and test custom EMS enhancements and support the testing and implementation of new releases.
• Lead technical evaluations of contractor software proposals.
• Develop clear documentation for diverse user bases.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or power systems operations.
• Strong proficiency with Linux OS commands and administration.
• Demonstrable experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and power flow analysis.
• Ability to multitask and adjust priorities based on business needs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for presenting to all management levels.
• Experience planning and running technical meetings.
