Description

Perform systems analysis and geospatial data management focused on land ownership and cadastral mapping.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Clean and resolve system-generated data warnings, conflicts, and LITS data discrepancies.
• Research public land ownership, less than fee interests, and vesting deeds through public records.
• Analyze GIS and non-GIS spatial data to verify mapping accuracy and gather polygon-specific data.
• Review property appraiser data, Water Management District records, and multi-agency GIS data.
• Document program requirements and specifications while improving communication processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems analysis, environmental assessment, or natural resources.
• Proven experience with cadastral GIS mapping and geospatial data management.
• Experience managing property tax records and land ownership data.
• Ability to conduct research across digital and hardcopy mapping and land titles.
• Proficiency in GIS data analysis and data clean-up activities.
• Experience performing public records research and reviewing vesting deeds.
