Description

Systems Application Engineer is needed to perform the following duties: Monitor enterprise applications and system environments to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across production and non-production systems. Provide advanced application support by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical incidents and service disruptions. Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical issues and implement preventive and corrective solutions. Support configuration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise applications, including user roles, permissions, and system settings. Assist in designing and implementing application integrations between enterprise systems, databases, and cloud platforms. Develop and execute SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and operational reporting. Support automation of routine operational tasks using scripting or workflow tools to improve system efficiency. Participate in application deployment, release management, and upgrade activities across cloud and on-premise environments. Monitor application and infrastructure health using monitoring tools and proactively identify performance bottlenecks. Perform functional and system testing of application changes, enhancements, and production fixes to ensure stability and correctness. Support creation and execution of test cases and validate system behavior against defined requirements during release cycles. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to analyze requirements and support system enhancements. Maintain and update technical documentation, including system configurations, operational procedures, and incident records. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and production readiness discussions. Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems or Information Technology
