Description

You will own the technical and information architecture for the NYS Medicaid Management Information System.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create system integration and interface standards for the Medicaid Enterprise.
• Develop and support Enterprise Data Management and data standards.
• Direct development activities within the Medicaid Enterprise System Development Life Cycle following Federal CMS MITA Technical Architecture guidelines.
• Guide system integration and interface meetings.
• Provide technical consultation on MMIS application design, database design, and interfaces.

Required Skills

• 84+ months experience in IT leading or supporting software/technical/information architecture, system security, or privacy.
• 84+ months experience on a large-scale system (multi-agency, statewide, or >5,000 users).
• 84+ months experience in Health Information Technology, including X12 HIPAA-compliant EDI or ANSI NCPDP transactions.
• 48+ months experience performing business analysis, developing data/interface requirements, managing master data models, and generating designs/reports.
• 36+ months experience designing, troubleshooting, and documenting data interfaces and exchanges.
• 36+ months experience with data communications utilizing cloud computing and protocols like SFTP, SSL, VPNs, SOA, XML, SOAP, JSON, REST.
• 36+ months experience in disaster recovery, availability/capacity planning, and stress testing.
• 48+ months experience with Title XIX Medicaid or Medicare Program/commercial Medicaid MIS (claims, financial, member/provider management).
• 36+ months experience with vendor management or leading a technical team.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Experience with Title XIX Medicaid or Medicare Program.
