Lead the modernization of monolithic payment platforms into event-driven microservices, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient payment ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the transformation of monolithic payment systems into microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Lead complex data migration initiatives from legacy monolithic systems to cloud-native storage and processing architectures.
• Architect PCI DSS v4.0 compliant tokenization strategies to replace sensitive Cardholder Data and enable tokenized payment models.
• Design payment orchestration layers supporting cards, tokenization, issuance, acquiring, and overall card workflows.
• Establish architectural blueprints and guidelines for authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation flows.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform engineering, or solutions architecture.
• Deep expertise in payment tokenization standards, encryption, and zero-trust security.
• Hands-on experience with HSM/KMS secrets management.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with REST API and SOAP implementations.
• Proven track record of managing data migration from legacy environments to modern platforms.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks (SAFe) using Jira, Rally, and Clarity.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the banking, fintech, or payments domain.
• Background in designing resilient and secure payment ecosystems.
