Description

Design and develop AT/CVT transmission systems, owning the lifecycle from concept to detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Design and calibrate AT/CVT transmission systems, including synchro packs.
• Perform analytical calculations for gears, shafts, shifting systems, and bearing selection.
• Conduct design reviews for transmission architecture and layouts.
• Prepare detailed part print manufacturing drawings, defining tolerances for form, fit, and function.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in AT/CVT transmission design.
• Proficiency in Kisssoft and Romax for drivetrain simulation and optimization.
• Expertise in GD&T, DFMEA, DFA, and stack-up analysis.
• Strong knowledge of BoM, Engineering Change Management, and sheet metal/pipe/hose design.
• Functional understanding of heat treatment, gear cutting processes, and transmission casting design.
• Ability to prepare assembly and service manuals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UG NX and PLM systems.
• Proficiency in Team Centre and MS Office.
