PROLIM is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer 3 to support Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems engineering, system integration testing, requirements management, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements, specifications, and system architecture.
• Perform functional analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation.
• Use MBSE tools such as Cameo and IBM DOORS.
• Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and program stakeholders.
• Participate in engineering reviews and technical presentations.
• Ensure system designs meet technical, cost, and schedule requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field with 5 years of experience; equivalent advanced-degree pathways may qualify.
• Experience in systems engineering processes and requirements development.
• Experience in requirements management, analysis, verification, or validation.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain SAP access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Proficiency in Cameo and IBM DOORS, including DXL scripting.
• Experience with Agile, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Experience developing system requirements and verification plans.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
