Description

Maintain the reliability, availability, and performance of the Apigee Hybrid API management platform and Linux-based gateway infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and implement enhancements to the API gateway platform and supporting infrastructure.
• Administer, maintain, and operate Apigee Hybrid components across Linux environments.
• Optimize gateway and supporting components for maximum availability, performance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform level issues proactively and reactively.
• Respond to and support production operations in a 24/7 environment, ensuring uptime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years supporting enterprise-grade applications or platforms in production.
• Strong operational understanding of API management platforms, specifically Apigee Hybrid.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience managing distributed systems, containers, or Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, load balancing, routing.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Functional scripting abilities (Bash, Python) to automate operational tasks.
