Description

You will manage and monitor installed systems, applications, and databases to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor application performance to identify bottlenecks and collaborate with developers on fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies across all systems.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to automate tasks and increase system efficiency.
• Produce technical specifications, conduct unit testing, and configure automated builds and releases.

Required Skills

• Experience with C# and the .NET Framework, including ASP.Net and UWP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts using SQL.
• Experience writing and updating automated task frameworks using PowerShell, Python, or PHP.
• Demonstrated success troubleshooting and deploying SOAP and REST web services.
• Strong skills in configuring and troubleshooting IIS web servers.
• Experience with deployment tools such as Octopus or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and VSTS build processes.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies like VMware or VirtualBox.
• Ability to model and analyze data flows and system diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with n-Tier client/server architecture.
